I have to change the brake-shoes of my MG TD, front as well as rear, so 4 x 2 in total, because the lining became quite thin. I want to maintain maximum authenticity, so I prefer to apply new linings...

Wout, These are for my MGA but don't think they are structurally different from the TD /TF. Just got them back from having them relined. Originally they were riveted to the shoes, but are now "glued."...

Wout - somewhere I have a set of NOS Lockheed brake shoe material from the 50's, as well as some period Ferodo material. Both have rivet holes, and come with rivets for installation. I think the glued...

Original was rivets. Modern shoes are glued, which is a better way of doing it.
